My Brown Paper Wreath

As a Stampin Up Demonstrator in Australia, every time I receive an order all the goodies are always well protected with lots of brown paper. I usually just put mine in the recycling bin as I don't have room to store it. I had a rather large order arrive a while ago and kept the paper as I thought I might wrap my Christmas presents in it,  finished with a nice ribbon.

That of course is not what happened as I never found it again until after Christmas.

So a quick visit to our local craft shop for a foam wreath and some tiny pearl head pins and my brown paper wreath came to life.

I cut the brown paper into 6 inch wide strips then layered 4 together. Using the smallest scallop circle from the layering circle framelits dies I cut out lots and lots of circles. Before I started to attach the scallop circles I wrapped a piece of ribbon round the wreath so I could hang it up. I then just pushed a pin through the middle of the scallop circle and pushed the pin into the foam wreath. The scallop circles are pretty close together and I just scrunched them up to make room for more.

The finished product and I love it! 💖
