Kylie's Demonstrator Training Support Program Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I am participating in a monthly blog hop as part of Kylie's training group. You will find lots of inspiration here so make sure you hop all the way around and check out everyones projects.

For my card today I have chosen to use products from the Classic Garage Suite. This suite lets you create the perfect cards for people (both male and female) who love all things mechanical.
I have used mainly dark colours, black and basic gray with a 'pop' of real red and some silver sequins. For my background I have used silver embossing paste with the party pattern decorative masks. I love how the silver sequins in the middle of the little gears add that bit of 'bling' to my card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Enjoy the rest of the hop!
Have a great day 💖

Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I am participating in Kylie's International Blog Highlights and you get to VOTE for your favourite projects. You can do that here -

The theme for this hop is encouragement.

For my card I have used the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set. This set was designed by Patty Bennett when she achieved one million dollars in sales. Patty designed this set in honour of her Mum who passed away 11 years ago from cancer.
I chose to use the colours Petal Pink, Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron, with a little bit of vellum for the leaves. On top of my petal pink base I have layered a piece of crumb cake card stock which has been embossed using the subtle embossing folder.  I have heat embossed with white embossing powder on the pink and crumb cake hearts. The sentiment has also been white heat embossed on petal pink. I used the stitched shapes largest circle to die cut in Mint Macaron, then ran it through the big shot using the tin tile embossing folder. A few metallic pearls finished my project.

I would love it if you could VOTE for my card.

Home To Roost

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Tonight on my Facebook live I created this cute card using the 'Home To Roost' stamp set, which you can earn for FREE when you purchase $90.00 worth of products (Australia)

This card uses four of the new products available now  and I love them all!
The Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes
Gingham Gala 6x6 Designer Series Paper
Home To Roost Stamp Set
Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies

To create the card I have used the larger navy card from the Happiness Blooms Memories & More pack. Layered on this is a piece of the daffodil delight Gingham Gala dsp that has been die cut using the 2nd largest rectangle stitched framelit dies. I stamped the reeds in old olive on old olive cardstock then fussy cut. A piece of burlap ribbon is layered top of this. Using the largest stitched square die I have cut out a piece of shimmery white cardstock. The rooster has been stamped on this using Stayzon ink. Using an aqua painter I then coloured my rooster.  Colours used were crushed curry for the background, merry merlot mixed with crushed curry and blueberry bushel for the rooster. Sentiment is from the same set, stamped in memento ink.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day 💖

So Hoppy Together

Hello and welcome to my blog.
In my Facebook Live last night I created the cutest card with a set you can earn for FREE during
sale-a-bration which kicks off in just a couple of days.
So Hoppy Together.
This set is adorable, these little frogs just make me smile.

I have used a half sheet of whisper white card stock for my base. Layered on top of this is a piece of granny apple green. I used the fourth largest layering circle die to cut out a piece of my granny apple green. I wanted the circle off to the side with an open section. After I had die cut the circle I ran my card stock through my bigshot using the petal burst embossing folder. Both of the frogs are stamped in memento black ink. The frog on the inside has been coloured with my granny apple green watercolour pencil then the colour smoothed with my blender pen.  The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. The little frog on the front that I have fussy cut, was coloured with granny apple green stampin' blends.
The two dragon flies were stamped in memento ink also.
A quick hint for getting one dragonfly facing the left and one facing the right.
I stamped the first dragonfly (left facing) on my cardstock. To get the one facing right, I inked up my stamp then stamped onto my silicon mat. I then took my cardstock and pressed it down onto the mat. A perfect mirror image! Both were coloured using dark and light Mango Melody blends with Pool Party eyes. The sentiment 'Hey' was just stamped on a white strip then trimmed.

Neutral Palette

Hello and welcome to my blog
Today Have a card for you using a very neutral palette. Neutral colours are my all time favourites and   they are my 'go to' colours for cards.

This card is made using quite a few new products coming in the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues available 3rd January.

I have used a half sheet of A4 card stock for my base. Layered on this is a piece of basic black which I have embossed using white embossing powder and the new crackle paint stamp set. I love the effect this gives and I am looking forward to doing some more embossing with this set on different colours. The second largest stitched circle was used to create my circle in whisper white. On the back of this I have attached some gold twine with snail adhesive. The sentiment is from the butterfly gala stamp set. Using the botanical butterfly designer series paper that you can get for FREE when you purchase $90.00 (Australia) worth of products, I have punched out the butterfly using the butterfly duet punch. The polka dot shape is done using the rectangle stitched  dies (also in the occasions catalogue).  I have just trimmed this down as I only wanted a strip,  but liked the details of the stitched edge on the bottom. My sentiment is adhered to the polka dot piece of dsp using snail then popped up on dimensionals. The punched out butterfly is bent slightly to make the wings stand out then popped up on a dimensional as well.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day 💖
