Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I am participating in a blog hop as a member of Kylie's Demonstrator Training Group.
This group provides support and training to help demonstrators build their businesses.

There is no theme for this hop, just to use current products.

For many us we can count our real friends on one hand. This card will be heading off to someone who I have been good friends with for a very long time. She no longer lives near me but when we get together we spend most of our time laughing and I love that 😊

Here's how I created my card -
I have used three layers, coastal cabana base, a layer of whisper white then a layer of designer series paper from the 'All Is Bright' paper in the Holiday Catalogue.
Leaves have been punched out using the leaf punch in coastal cabana. The crumb cake shape is from the beautiful layers thinlits. Sentiment and shape are from the banners for you stamp set and bunch of banners framelit dies, layered on the frame shape from the frosted bouquet framelit dies.  I have finished my card with some gold sequins to add a bit of sparkle.

Mini Wreath

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I have the cutest wreath for you that I made in my Facebook Live this morning.
I have done two different designs. Both feature the leaf punch and old olive card stock. One has the stars and the gorgeous gold 'Christmas' and the other just has the sparkle and merry merlot stars.
Which one is your favourite?
I love how they look against the brown paper bags. The perfect finishing touch!

Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today we are being highlighted by Kylie Bertucci in Novembers International Blog Highlights.

The theme for this hop is  'Thank you Shelli Gardner'

If you love my card you can VOTE for it
you can do that here -

I would like to thank Shelli for everything that Stampin' Up! is. Without her determination and hard work to keep this company going my life would be very different. I have made so many wonderful, lifelong friends though Stampin' Up! I certainly have so much to be grateful for.

Snowflake Showcase

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I have a card for you that I created in my Facebook Live featuring the Snowflake Showcase bundle available November 1st.

My card base is half a sheet of whisper white cut vertically. I have stamped the snowflakes in basic gray ink on grey card stock. A small strip of gray granite card stock has been layered on top of my basic grey piece. The largest snowflake die has been used to cut out the snowflake in pool party with a gray granite flower layered on top of this. The 'for you' sentiment is from the same set, cut out using a die from the Stitched Label dies.  My card is finished with a few of the clear epoxy droplets.

If you would like to purchase any of the products I have used to create my card please click on the 'shop' button at the top of my blog post. Please note: the Snowflake Showcase bundle is available November 1st.

Snowflake Showcase

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I have a card for you that I created in my Facebook Live featuring the beautiful Snowflake Showcase products.

These products are available to customers from 1st to 30th November while stocks last. It is one you will definitely want to add to your collection.

I have kept my card quite simple, but stunning. I know that Blackberry Bliss, black and copper foil are not 'traditional' Christmas colours but boy I love these! I have used crumb cake cardstock for my base with a layer of the copper foil on top of this. The beautiful images on my card are from the Happiness Surrounds stamp set. Three separate images have been stamped to create the pattern. They are stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Memento Black. The tiny copper snowflakes are cut out using the Snowfall thinlits dies. My sentiment is from the Snow is Glistening stamp set. The inside of my card has the image stamped again in the corner.

I would love it if you would leave me a comment about my card.

Heat Embossing with an Embossing Folder

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I have a card for you that I created on my Facebook Live earlier this week, using an embossing folder to heat emboss.

To create my card I used the Swirls and Curls textured impressions embossing folder.
I rubbed my versamark ink pad over the front inside (the side with the Stampin' Up! logo on) then placed my piece of Bermuda Bay card stock inside and ran through the Big Shot. Doing this means the versa mark will be 'pushed' into the debossed image. I then applied gold stampin' emboss powder and heated with my heat tool.

Using the Dashing Deer bundle and the black foil card stock, I cut out the leaping deer and the tiny black flower. The gold foil piece is cut from the Stitched Labels framelit dies. Sentiment is from the Dashing Deer stamp set stamped in memento black on Bermuda Bay card stock. I think the gold embossing on embossed card stock gives a great effect. It is a technique I will definitely be using again.
