Onstage Melbourne

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Last weekend I was very fortunate to be one of the presenters at Onstage Local in Melbourne.
It was such a wonderful experience and I am so thankful to have been chosen to present.

I was given the 'Piece Of Cake' Bundle to showcase.
A gorgeous set with 21 photopolymer stamps and a co-ordinating punch.
Even though the set is primarily for Birthdays, it has some beautiful cake stamps and a couple of sentiments which are perfect for weddings or engagements.
This bundle will be available to customers January 3rd 2019 in the Occasions Catalogue.

Here are two of the cards I created which would be beautiful as wedding cards.

The first card features beautiful neutral tones of very vanilla, soft suede and crumb cake. I have incorporated some copper pieces with foil, thread and then embossed the cake using copper embossing powder. A few sequin embellishments finish the card.

To create the second wedding card I have used the masking technique and post it notes. I placed a post it note over the top section of the cake I was using then inked up the stamp. Once I removed the post it note I was able to stamp the cake to get a single layer. I then repeated this process to get the second layer. For the top layer I inked up the whole cake and stamped. The little flower cake topper is a separate stamp. I coloured with my Stampin blends.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day 💖
